It is a very humbling experience to look at one's house and garden after 6 days of clean up, realizing it is still a stinking, damp wreck. You then understand that after 1months of fear and two months of certainty that the worst case has hit your home hard, there is yet an other month and lots of $ to be spend before you can move back in.
Your mind wanders of and for a moment you wonder if you're strong enough, but then there are 6 eyes looking at me and i know i need to move on and give them hope. I guess that makes me a Papa and a husband.
Previously I have posted many VDOs on Muang Ake getting ready for the flood and one about being in the water. This one shows the clean-up.
It it hard to accept to have lost so very much, but the human spirit is strong, we will persevere. Last VDO will be from the housewarming party :)
