วันนี้ขอเสนอ มีดพับ รูปแบบมีด Balisong แต่มิใช่ Balisong นั่นคือ Cold Steel Paradox Butterfly-Style (Two Handed Opener) เชิญชมครับ

ดูภายนอกยังไงก็ มีด Balisong ชัดๆ ทาง Cold Steel เค้าไม่อยากซ้ำแบบใครจึงคิดมีดรุ่นนี้ขึ้นมา

มีดรุ่นนี้เป็นแบบ Two Handed Opener คือต้องเปิดด้วยสองมือเท่านั้น ผมลองด้วยมือเดียวแล้ว ไม่ไหว เพราะสปริงมันแข็งพอสมควร

เวลาจะเปิดมันจะออกเป็นสเตป ดังภาพนี้ และภาพต่อๆไปครับ มันมีแกนเหล็กทำเป็นสปริงเอาไว้ เหมือนพวกมีดแบบ Slip Joint

ด้ามจับแบบ skeletonized ทำขึ้นด้วยเครื่องจักร CNC โดยใช้วัสดุคือ อลูนิเนียม 6061 ซึ่งเป็นอลูมิเนียมที่แข็งมาก และยังผ่านการเคลือบผิว
ด้วยระบบ hard-anodized เพื่อลดรอยขีดข่วน และลดการเกิดปฎิกริยากับอ๊อกซิเจน

ทาง Cold Steel โฆษณาไว้ว่า เมื่อคุณเหน็บมีดรุ่นนี้ติดกระเป๋าออกไปข้างนอก จะต้องมีคนร้องทักว่า เฮ้นี่มัน "CUSTOM HAND MADE BALISONG" 555

ใบมีดทำด้วยเหล็กเกรดปานกลาง แต่ความคม โกนขนได้สบายหายห่วง แหลมมากด้วย

It's designed from the ground up to specifically mimic a traditional Balisong or Butterfly knife in every respect
but one – it can't be opened with one hand! That's right, the Paradox is not a switchblade, gravity knife,
or assisted opener and can't be opened without the use of both hands. So, while it looks like a classic Butterfly knife

มีดรุ่นนี้มีขนาดค่อนข้างใหญ่ เมื่อเทียบกับ Balisong ทั่วไป คงเพราะต้องใช้พื้นที่ให้มือสามารถจับด้ามเพื่อเปิดได้ด้วย ต่างกับมีดแบบ Balisong
ที่ใช้แรงโน้มถ่วงของโลกในการเปิดใบ ด้ามจับจึงเล็กกระทัดรัด ความคมใช้ได้ โกนขนขาดแต่ เกรนเหล็กแย่มาก ผมเอาคมมีดมาลากผ่าน
ปลายเล็บดู มันช่างขรุขระซะเหลือเกิน แต่คงตัดเฉือนได้เลือดได้เนื้อดีแน่แท้ นับเป็นมีดที่ดีอีกรุ่นนึงของ Cold Steel เล่มหน้า Buck Gen5 :)
