It was a good event, not as well organized as PC, but many young archers there and a 18m challenge waiting. I like the fact that they have to shoot at 18m ... it's a real challenge for kids.

Max struggled for focus in the first round, got a wake-up call from his dad, caught up in the 2nd and brought home a score roughly 10points below what was possible. I just love the part of the video where he is fighting for composure, using all the time at hand. At the end it was an OK 7th place for him. Never mind - many years to come for this little archer.

By the way i have noticed that every time i shout with him there is an army of friends, aunties, uncles, brothers and sisters swarming around him to cheer him up ! Ton is so firmly on his side that i wonder if we're actually family and i did not know about it. I love what you do for my kids guys - you are a 'replacement family' to him. He is going through tough times and when i am my usual out of time, stressed out, grumpy, misrable, myself - there is a shield of protection opening around my kids. Max knows this, Hanna can feel it, i can see it and think it is the best thing that could come out of all the time we spend together: My kids have true friends. Thanks :2TU:

Tanthai was not as cool as usual, but delivered the goods and got a great 5th place :) . I think Tanthai and Max will spend many years together chasing each other on the archery field and being great friends off the pitch.

I am hoping for Pete and Prem to catch up soon. Pete's problem was that he stood right next to a kid from Lampang, who shot like straight out of an archery book. That guy was the guy to beat and i was surprised that he came in 2nd. Pete will catch up for sure. He is so determined and loves the sport.

Prem demonstrated what a good sport he is and showed up to support his mate. And yes ... P'Prasert opened the umbrella of protection for Max as well. Prem , you're a great kid, good friend, took some very good pictures and i think you'll be shooting there next year !

Pech had a big fight at her hands, N.Bam is hard to beat indeed. Fighting with her fitness she shot very well and brought home a super duper 2nd place.

Tin Tin shot very, very well, had one bad round and got a respectable 4th place.

PS: K.Santi, K.Shabu and Eugen will form a formidable 3dads teams to compete in PC 2013 :) !
